The wasteful scrapping of perfectly serviceable machines is reduced
by returning previously used copiers and fax machines to showroom
condition, offering customers a cost-effective alternative to
brand new equipment. The equipment looks as good and performs
as efficiently as a new model - and carries exactly the same guarantees
of copy quality and reliability.
Remanufacturing should never be confused with refurbishment
or reconditioning. It involves the complete rebuilding of a machine,
using brand new parts, to return it to an 'as new' condition.
Copiers returned from customers are matched with
their own service and repair history. When they are accepted for
remanufacture, they are given a thorough check before being allocated
to a skilled specialist engineer. The machines are stripped down
to their chassis and all panels and casings undergo state-of -the-art
cleaning in a controlled environment. They are then rebuilt by
hand, to the original manufacturers specifications, using brand
new parts. Any updated technical specifications and software are
automatically incorporated, including any new instructions and
safety labels.
Finally the machines are flash-tested to ensure total electrical
safety before delivery to new operators.
All reassembled machines and their accessories are
subjected to rigorous quality checks, tested and verified for
reliability over long copy runs.
The entire process is approved to ISO 9002 quality standards.
Each cleaning and refitting operation is undertaken using safe
and environmentally friendly methods.
The remanufacturing of photocopying equipment
